Fat burning smoothie recipe – paleo & vegan

Matching my favourite fat burner exercises as an edition of my monthly exercise favourites, I created this quick and easy paleo fat burning smoothie recipe.

Depending on the protein powder you use and whether you add gelatin or not, this recipe is also vegan.

The smoothie contains a lot of ingredients (my favourite products I truly recommend are listed under the recipe) that are proven to aid in fat loss:

Blueberries & strawberries

are rich in polyphenols which are powerful antioxidants that can stop fat from forming

studies show that blueberries can help torch belly fat

Spinach

great way to get your greens in

studies have proven that regular consumption aids in weight loss

Green tea 

contains catechins which trigger the release of fat from cells, especially in the abdominal area

Cinnamon

stabalizes blood sugar levels

prevents insulin spikes

Almonds

fat fills you up

contain compounds that limit the amount of fat absorbed by the body

Fat Burning Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 100 g frozen spinach/TK-Spinat
  • 100 g frozen strawberries/TK-Erdbeeren
  • 10 g protein powder/Proteinpulver I used collagen protein/ich habe Collagen Protein verwendet
  • 12 g gelatin/Gelatine optional to thicken the smoothie/optional um ein dickere Konsistenz zu bekommen
  • 5-10 g raw cacao/Rohkakao
  • 5 g blueberry powder/Blaubeerpulver
  • cinnamon/Zimt
  • 5 g maca powder/Macapulver
  • 1 scoop/Scoop green tea powder/Grünteepulver
  • 100 ml almond milk/Mandelmilch
  • 20 ml coconut water/Kokoswasser
  • 1 tablespoon/EL almond butter/Mandelmus

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients with as much water (or additional nut milk) as needed for your desired consistency./Alle Zutaten mit so viel Wasser (oder mehr Nussmilch) mixen bis die gewünschte Konsistenz erreicht ist.
